Glen Coe Valley – Loch Lomond Route Map
Road trip in Scotland – Glen Coe Valley
We start very early in the morning on the road that leads to the small village of Glencoe. A short coffee break then continue on to the Glen Coe Valley Viewpoint. The landscapes are grandiose, breathtaking but without sun … After some photos, we turn back the road to the south to descend to Oban.

Road trip in Scotland – Oban
We arrive in this charming port city where we stop to visit the Oban distillery. It is located in the city center and offers guided tours by registering in advance. So we had time to take a little tour in town to soak up the atmosphere of Oban.

Road trip in Scotland – Loch Lomond
We reach the largest lake in Scotland and Great Britain: Loch Lomond. We will follow it for miles … These shores are very pretty and pleasant. They have become the favorite holiday resort of Glasgow residents. The place is very busy.
What luck ! The sun is finally here, shy but it is there!
Glasgow Cheap Hotel
In Glasgow, I did not seek to stay in a Bed and Breakfast. I preferred to stay for 2 nights a good hotel comfortable and well placed to visit the city. There was also a need to park the car.
The Motel One Glasgow has fulfilled all my requirements.
No more charming little rooms decorated in the old-fashioned way, whose access passed sometimes through the living room … No, this charm of the Scottish houses is not present in this immense hotel.
But other advantages largely compensate for the conviviality of B & Bs.
In the heart of Glasgow, its location is fabulous because you can find everything you want nearby (pubs, restaurants, shops …) and you can visit everything on foot! In addition, we were able to park the car in a nearby car park with a price negotiated by the hotel.
It is a contemporary hotel with a beautiful decor, large rooms and offers delicious breakfasts in the form of buffets.
The value for money is unbeatable for Glasgow: only 90 Euros per night!
